MAPLEHURST PROPERTIES ATTRACT BID OF NEARLY $4.5M
Steve Hall's firm is upping its stake in the Maplehurst neighborhood. Knoxville Maplehurst Properties LLC submitted the only bid, of nearly $4.5 million, at a Friday foreclosure auction for several properties in the area nestled between the UT campus and downtown Knoxville.
UNIVERSITY APARTMENTS SET FOR ‘EXTENSIVE OVERHAUL’
Dominion Development and Empire Construction have big plans for the University Apartments, which Knoxville-based Dominion purchased for $2,150,000 in a sale that closed Thursday. Built in 1970, the 103-unit complex will get a complete makeover, Dominion’s Ray Heath said, and should be ready for reoccupancy by February.
SMYRNA APARTMENTS SELL FOR $5M
Enon Springs, a 128-unit apartment complex in Smyrna, has been sold for $5.15 million to a Knoxville developer. Long Island, N.Y.-based BRT Realty Trust sold the property to Dominion Development of Knoxville, Cushman & Wakefield announced this morning.
